The following information is aimed at any ex 2 Para soldiers who may be interested in obtaining work in the security industry. This involves both normal security, and close protection here in the UK and abroad. This association has been set up by 2 of our members, Boris Buddle, and Gil Boyd, along with ex 2 Para officer Julian Roe.

Colonel (Retd) Stuart Tootal DSO, OBE joins the British Security Associationas their president.

This new venture has been launched by two members of the 2 Para Reunion Club, and within 24 hours opportunities came in for ex Parachute Regiment soldiers with accreditations in the the private security sector. Boris and Gil, together with Julian Roe, an ex 2 Para officer aim to provide security prefessionals ( especially Para Regt) with good advice, training and hopefully opportunities.

Yesterday Colonel (Retd) Stuart Tootal DSO, OBE came on board as their president, his reputation within the security industry is second to none. He is held in the highest esteem by the men he commanded in 3 Para after his strong objections to the shoddy way they were treated on their return to the UK as wounded soldiers. He then created the Afghan Trust which supports all wounded Parachute Regiment soldiers and their families.

With the current financial climate, many clients seek out the best Close Protection trained individuals, and with the combined experience of all the ex Para's working closely together this association, can acheive it's aim in placing the guys in work, whether on land or Maritime Protection duties.
