John Dwyer John Dwyer, an old mate from 2 Para spent the early years of his life in the Camaron Highlands Malaya. John's father an ex serviceman was a policeman during the troubled 1950's/60's. John is writing a book of his experiences of those early years, his schooling and upbringing until he returned here to the Uk and eventually joined the Regt. Below are just a few photos of those times, I have taken these from another website he had informed me of. I don't have the full story behind each photo other than a brief outline John gave me, but it will give you some idea of what it was like to live in the region at that time. They didn't have patrols like this when I was there !!
